Dr. “Phil” Schoenwetter, founder and inventor of EstraPet, has been a compassionate family physician since 1979 and a friend to dogs all his life.  He graduated from the Universidad Autonoma de Guadalajara in 1974 and did postgraduate work in family practice and nuclear medicine.  After serving in the Navy as a physician he began his private practice in Los Angeles in 1980. His 30 years of family medicine allowed him to intimately observe the parallel effects of sex hormone deficiency in men and women as well as his spayed and neutered dogs.

Because many of his family members suffered from breast cancer (both men and women had mastectomies) he desperately spent hundreds of hours researching thousands of scientific articles related to effects of hormones, conventional medication, herbal and natural hormone analogues (substitutes) on people, animals, and cancer patients. The safe, beneficial and antineoplastic (cancer fighting) properties of the isoflavones in EstraPet are what he wants for all his dogs and is now available for yours.
